Great Item - does what is says March 7, 2010 David P. Weber (middle Georgia) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love it, you can even put a glass bowl in it and do a large batch. Works lovely, cleans up nice.
Easy way to stay healthy! May 17, 2010 Dennis V. Mela (Viera, FL) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Love this thing! Warm up milk, put in a dollup of yogurt, plug it in, and the next day you have 7 jars of yogurt. Put it in the fridge and add any fruit or preserves to taste. What could be easier? And it is economical on top of all that.
vietnamese yogurt the way I remembered... June 27, 2010 Kenneth Khuu 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This machine is excellent w/ my modified recipe. 2 cups of water warm it on the stove until bubbles on the side, turn off when you see one or two bubbles rise to the surface. mix 3/4 can of condense milk to water in the 2 qt pitcher and set aside. In a separate bowl, mix cold whole milk and a plain yogurt or the last yogurt from the last batch. pour the bowl into the pitcher and stir well. Fill up the jars and incubate for 9 hrs. Put lid on, and serve chill. Don't forget to save the last jar for the next round.
Great Yogurt Maker for the Price June 29, 2010 Having Fun (Sleepy Hollow, IL) I love this little yogurt maker. I've been making batch after batch. It is soooooo easy and efficient. I also purchased the Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker at the same time because I love greek yogurt. I just dump the little jars in the cheese maker and within hours I have greek yogurt, at only a fraction of the cost. Like some other people have said it does sweat on the counter but, who cares I have a napkin or a dishcloth to wipe it up. Such a small inconvenience for a great product.
I've only used it a few times, and it's already paid for itself! August 26, 2010 Magic88 I just purchased this yogurt maker and I already love it! I initially purchased it to make organic yogurt for my 7-month-old, but I'm using it for my husband and me, too. It is super-easy to use, and makes it in less time than it says. I like that it comes with glass jars; the lids seal tightly. The lid to the machine works OK, but I think it could be re-designed to fit a little better. My only complaint is the "instruction manual". I was glad I had a book on hand for reference because the manual wasn't very helpful (not that making homemade yogurt is difficult). My daughter's favorite yogurt topping is applesauce; I love mine with wheat germ, ground flaxseed, and a drizzle of honey. Happy yogurt-making!
